This guide provides details on how to successfully utilise the publication reveal module in Sitecore.
2. What is the publication reveal module?
The publication reveal module allows you to promote and highlight a single publication within your content. Users can learn a little about the publication and are prompted to download it - being taken to the publication page directly upon clicking this link.

The publication reveal module can be placed on the following types of pages:
- News
- Perspectives
- Projects
- Services
- Industries
4. Creating a publication reveal module
To add a publication reveal module, you must first create it within the Content Editor. Once this has been created, you can add the module to your page using the Experience Editor.
- Right click on the 'Local content' folder and choose 'Insert > Publication reveal' from the popup
- Give your module a suitably descriptive name and click 'Ok'
- You have now created your video module
Adding content
This guide is broken up into the individual sections of the publication reveal item. The headings below match the headings you'll find when building the module.
Panel settings

- Title - By default this field will be populated with 'Publication' - you should not need to change this, but if the field is blank, enter 'Publication'
- Publication - You can choose a single publication to promote in this module. Click 'Edit' and from the resulting popup, browse the content tree to find the publication you want to choose. Double click the publication you want to add so that it appears in the right hand column. Once you've selected your publication, click 'OK' to close the popup. Your chosen publicatoin should then display.
- Strapline* - The module allows you add a dedicated strapline supporting the publication. You should enter a brief sentence that entices the user to click and find out more about the publication you're promoting.
- CTA* - This is a final call to action added to the module. You should enter text such as 'Download publication' or 'Download report' (depending on the type of publication you're promoting).
Completing the module
Once you have entered the relevant information, save the module. If you're ready to add the module to your page, you'll need to access the Experience Editor.

1. Can I only have one publication?
A. Yes. The module is specifically designed to allow you promote a single publication within your content. If you wish to promote mlultiple publications then you should consider using the 'Publications promo' module
2. Where can I put the module?
A. You can add this module anywhere within your content. However, you should consider your location carefully. When user clicks a publication, they'll be taken to that page - will your users have learnt enough to leave your page before this happens?
3. Do I have to add a title to the module?
A. By default the 'Title' value will be completed with the word 'Publication'. The module's design calls for this value to be included so you should leave it there.
4. Do I have to include a strapline?.
Yes. The strapline is your opportunity to integrate the module into your article. It allows you to explain why the publication is being promoted and what the relevance is - doing this will encourage users to click through.
